Associate Attorney Position With San Francisco Bay Area Plaintiffsâ Employment, Class Action and Appellate Firm OLIVIER & SCHREIBER LLP
(Salary range: $125,000-$160,000 depending on experience)
Olivier & Schreiber is a nationally recognized complex litigation boutique with offices in Oakland, Napa Valley, and Los Angeles. The firm represents individuals and classes of plaintiffs in employment, civil rights, and consumer matters at the trial and appellate levels. The firm is active in the legal, public interest, and political communities. In the last five years alone, we have successfully recovered over $150 million on behalf of our clients.
The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation experience and California bar admission to join our team. Preference given to the Oakland office but will consider other office locations and/or hybrid remote/in office arrangements. The attorney will work directly with the partners on the firmâs busy and diverse docket of cases, which include employment, whistleblower, wage and hour, consumer rights, and other complex individual rights cases in state and federal courts as well as private arbitration. Caseload will include individual, representative and class actions. Our clients range from low-wage workers to corporate executives and everyone in between.
The firm seeks candidates with drive, initiative, strong writing ability, creativity, and good humor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking on significant responsibility, including appearing in court and before arbitrators, taking depositions, drafting pleadings and briefs, researching complex issues of law, and interfacing with clients and opposing counsel. The firm prioritizes mentoring the next generation of legal minds. The attorney will work closely with all partners, who work together to ensure the attorneyâs professional development at the firm.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) eligibility.
