Olivier & Schreiber P.C., along with Valerian Law, P.C., represented Alaska Airlines employees in a lawsuit filed under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). The aggrieved employees alleged that Alaska Airlines had policies in place to penalize workers for discussing or publishing information about workplace conditions. The Alameda County Superior Court approved a settlement that provided for $3 million to be paid to the State of California and aggrieved employees and a change in business practices to ensure that employees can discuss workplace conditions without fear of retribution.
