EstefanÃa earned her law degree from George Washington University Law School, where she was a fierce advocate for individual rights through the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic. During her time at GW Law, EstefanÃa served as President of the Labor & Employment Law Society, Co-President of the Latin American Law Student Association, volunteered at the Workers’ Rights Clinic and Justice at Work, and contributed as a member of the Public Contract Law Journal.
EstefanÃa joined O&S in 2023 with a strong background in labor and employment law. EstefanÃa was a two-time recipient of the Peggy Browning Fellowship, interning at worker- and community-centered non-profits that primarily served Spanish-speaking individuals. She focused on employment, labor, immigration, and housing issues. EstefanÃa interned with the Immigrant and Employee Rights Section at the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and worked at a leading labor and employment law firm in Washington, DC.
Prior to law school, EstefanÃa earned her Master of Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, focusing on dispute resolution. She served as a teaching assistant for the Speech & Debate class and the Vietnam Service-Learning program. During this time, EstefanÃa traveled to South Africa, India, and Vietnam, teaching debate, advocacy, and conflict resolution skills to students.
