Owen represents workers, consumers, and the public in individual, class, and representative actions throughout California and nationally.
Before joining O&S in 2024, Owen was a Managing Associate at Pasich PC, representing insured entities and individuals in complex coverage disputes against insurance companies. Owen also served as a staff attorney at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, providing counsel to transgender clients facing discrimination and tenants facing illegal housing practices.
Owen was a clinical student in the Fair Housing Clinic and a medical-legal partnership for transgender youth, and served on the board of Outlaws (LGBTQ student organization) and the First-Generation Professionals.

Owen received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2019. During law school, Owen served as a law clerk for the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and interned for the civil rights firm Loevy & Loevy.
