Monique has successfully tried individual and class cases, including employment, housing and public accommodation discrimination, predatory lending, and fraud and misrepresentation matters. Of her recent victories, in 2018, Monique obtained a jury verdict of over $5.4 million for a class of laborers engaged in property preservation work and illegally misclassified as independent contractors. In 2019, Monique secured a judgment of over $88 million on behalf of over 2,000 flight attendants against Virgin America, Inc. for wage and hour violations.

Monique also has a proven track record as an exceptional appellate attorney. She has briefed, argued and won several cases that have led to reported decisions for consumers and victims of discrimination in the California Supreme Court, the California Court of Appeal, and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals.
