O&S obtains class certification of national class action against Google on behalf of Local Guides

On July 20, 2020, the U.S. District Court issued an Order certifying a national class action against Google related to their “Local Guides” Program. According to the lawsuit, Google misled contributors of images and reviews to Google Maps by promising them each a free terabyte of cloud storage before reneging on the offer and requiring them to pay monthly to maintain the storage.  O&S is prosecuting this class action on behalf of Plaintiff Andrew Roley and a class of Local Guides with co-counsel Teske Katz PLLP and Lockridge Grindal Nauen PLLP.
